The objective of ICORT-2019 is to offer a conducive platform for the brightest minds to interact to exchange innovations, best practices and emerging trends in Range technology, in particular, and pertinent engineering and science disciplines, in general.

In 2006, ITR organised a National Conference on Range Technology (NACORT-06), in which more than 300 delegates and range experts from 12 different countries participated. In addition, the conference hosted a national-level exhibition in which about 80 leading industries/ firms showcased their products/ technologies. As highlight of the event, the conference was inaugurated by the then President of India, His Excellency Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. The meticulous planning and impeccable organization of NACORT received high appreciations and welcome remarks from various quarters from India and abroad.

About Integrated Test Range (ITR)

Committed towards Excellence

Integrated Test Range (ITR) is a DRDO establishment and is reputed as the premier test range of the country. ITR is credited for its state-of-the-art facilities with consistent and promising services and performance. It is an ISO 9001-2015 certified laboratory. It is located at Chandipur of the Odisha state in the eastern part of India.

ITR is renowned for test and evaluation of a wide variety of air-borne weapon systems by adopting matured processes and best practices. Highly spirited and committed human resource, with longstanding experience and unparalleled expertise, makes ITR a distinguished and successful range.

ITR is equipped with rich instrumentation and communication facilities, comprising both indigenous and imported solutions deployed at hard-to-reach sites and hostile weather to provide best data to its users. In addition to being a test facility, ITR is also involved in developing critical and innovative products in range technology. The key research areas and specialization of ITR include multi-sensor data fusion and association, digital communication, DSP and control system, image processing, embedded systems, radar system and antenna engineering.
